Mom's Sweater

Lets just say that the cat REALLY likes Galaxy. Course any yarn will do but he really likes the taste of Galaxy. Anywho, mom's sweater is progressing nicely. I've finished front and back, stitched them together along with the shoulders and done the first of 2 rows of bottom edge. It's an interesting edging, it's done in boa and each stitch has 2 dc tog. They call it a puff stitch, but it's only 2 dcs so I wouldnt call it that, just 2 dc tog. Its nice and makes it look really full, they there is another row of that which I havent started yet. Then sleeves, sleeve edges and neck edge than i'm done. It's really taken a lot less time than I expected which is good. I want to give it to her for Christmas, but she'll be at the craft fair on the 11th and it'd be nice if she wore something I made - unless she wears the other sweater I made her. guess it'll depend on how cold it is that day.

Crochet group tonight, it's at a new coffee shop that sounds really nice. I've been being teased by a few friends because I guess it's a place that gay ladies meet up, but I understand they have good coffee and the gal that suggested it has a boyfriend and goes there often, so it cant be ALL gay. Should be fun in any case.
